Saturday, January 4 @ 11 AM – 1 PM: Lego Free Build Drop in and build with our Legos. All ages welcome, parents must supervise.
Wednesday, January 8 @ 10:30 AM: Puppet Story Time with Leigh Baltzar. Newton and his puppet friends take turns reading stories and singing songs with the kids. Recommended ages 0-5. No registration.
Thursday, January 9- Thursday, January 23: Search and Find the Snowflake. Kids ages 3-12 are invited to search the children's room to find a paper snowflake with a number written on it. After you find the snowflake, you can fill out a raffle ticket with your contact information and the number on the snowflake. On January 24, we will be drawing a winner for a bag of children's books.
Saturday, January 11 @ 10 AM Making Music Together with Mrs. Malnati. Join us for simple songs, movement, listening skills, rhythmic development and more. Ages 2-8. Registration required, opens 12/28.
Tuesday, January 14 @ 10:30 AM: Backyard Band Jams with Rhonda. Songs, fingerplays, sit and sing, movement, and props followed by group instrument play with simple classroom style rhythm instruments. Ages 1.5-5. Registration required, opens 12/31.
Saturday, January 18 @ 2 PM: Chinese New Year Celebration. Join us as we ring in the New Year with Lion Dancers from Tiger Crane Kung Fu & Tai Chi, followed by a demonstration from Bridgewater Martial Arts. No registration, all ages.
Tuesday, January 28 @ 6:30 PM: Virtual Program: Early College Planning. Learn how best to save for college, how college savings impacts financial aid, where and how to begin the college search, and what role cost plays in the college decision. Wednesday, January 29 @ 6 PM Dress A Girl Around the World Are you and your friends or family looking to do some volunteer work? On Wednesday, January 29 at 6:00 PM, the Bridgewater Public Library is hosting a Dress A Girl Around the World dress kit workshop. Dress A Girl provides hand-sewn dresses to young girls in need in the US and around the world. At this workshop, we will be creating dress kits for future sewing workshops. This involves measuring and matching fabric to trims and accessories and then bagging them. (No sewing involved) All materials will be provided. This will be a fun, but meaningful activity for the entire family. Please join us!
